The Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion provides strategic leadership in the development and implementation of college-wide goals for diversity, equity and inclusion to ensure access and opportunity, eliminate barriers, and develop intentional strategies for the academic success and advancement of individuals of historically under-represented populations. The Vice President serves as the President’s primary advisor on issues regarding equity and inclusion, and counsels Cabinet members and senior level officials on policy and practices for institutional effectiveness for employee and student diversity, student success and completion rates, and campus diversity climate. The Vice President of Equity and Inclusion is responsible for major diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that mutually benefit the college and external stakeholders.

•Directs student engagement, persistence and retention initiatives and services for the College.•Provides leadership to the staff in the areas of Academic Support, Advising and Counseling, Career Development, Power of You/Make it Count Programs, Student Life, TRiO and Student Rights and Responsibilities.•Leads and manages the student conduct and complaint process and Title IX.•Administers the financial management of the Student Success Budget. •Serves as the Program Manager for Gender Based Violence Prevention Grant Initiatives. •Serves as the Senior Diversity Officer for the College, providing strategic leadership for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.•Serves as the chair of the Equity and Inclusion Committee. •Oversees the development and implementation of programs to support underrepresented and at-risk students beginning with their transition into the College environment through completion. •Develops and delivers training and professional development programs that assist the faculty, staff and students in supporting the College’s commitment to equity and inclusion. •Promotes the College’s commitment to equity and inclusion through developing and sustaining relationships with partners aligned with the College’s mission vision and values.

•Provided leadership for the Office of Student Life and Diversity.•Supervised and evaluated the Student Life staff including the Coordinator of Multicultural Programs and the Student Life Programs Coordinator. •Served as the financial manager of the Student Life budget including the allocation of the Student Life Fee.•Served as an advisor for the Saint Paul College Student Senate.•Provided support services for recognized student associations.•Coordinated Student Life programs and events to provide opportunities for student engagement in the College community.•Coordinated the College's Commencement Ceremony.•Led the development, implementation and management of initiatives and policies regarding diversity, equity and multicultural affairs.•Facilitated the College’s Equity and Inclusion Committee.•Coordinated the Saint Paul College Equity Training program.
