I have served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer on a volunteer basis since 2005. Meals with Love - Vista/Oceanside is a nonprofit organization. Our purpose is to provide nutritional meals to people in our general area who have no one to help them and/or cannot prepare food for themselves. Not only are the homebound in need, but also those confined to their homes for any reason, including illness, accident, or convalescence. We assist those of all ages who need nourishment. I am very proud to represent this organization.

Oversaw and managed the core accounting functions including A/R, A/P, Payroll, HR, Budgeting and cash forecasting. Moved a periodic inventory to a perpetual inventory system. Worked with Senior Executive Team providing timely KPI’s for operational and financial analysis in order to maximize profitability. Worked with CPA firm for Quality of Earnings analysis. Main liaison for banking, Insurance and CPA Audits.

Managed all aspects of the accounting department, including AP, AR, HR and Payroll. Strong emphasis on budget control, forecasting and cashflow. Worked closely with Operations to ensure proper inventory control BOMS and COGS analysis. Set up a system to capture scrap percentages and properly account for obsolete inventory. Set up accruals and analysis of Customer Discounts. Set up EDI chargeback monitoring and controls. Ensured timely month end closes and designed specific financial reporting with KPI for executive team and investors. Managed all tax reporting and compliances. Worked with CEO and outside firm providing all Due Diligence for Quality of Earnings analysis. Worked closely with CPA Firm for timely year end audits and reporting. Banking, ABL, Insurance and CPA liaison for company.

Provided implementation consultation, project management, and support services during SAPBusiness One installations, upgrades, and customizations. Worked with small businesses andmanufacturers to develop and implement a system customized for their particular company andunique to their individual needs. Setting up Chart of Accounts, accounting process flows,internal controls, BOM and inventory balancing, COGS analysis, financial dashboards, andcomplex financial reporting designed for each individual business. Testing, configuring,implementing, and training.

Responsible for all aspects of the accounting department, Purchasing & Human Resources.Duties included: AP, AR, Job Costing, Budgeting, Procurement, Month End closings, Month EndFinancial reporting to President and CPA. I worked closely with Operations in order tostreamline inventory control and implemented inventory cycle counts and audits.

Managed all aspects of the accounting department and played a strong role in production planning and day-to-day operations. I was very instrumental in the implementation of the ERP management system, customizing functionality, training of employees and setting up internal controls within the ERP system and EDI. Duties included: Managing AP, AR, Month End Close, Monthly Financial Reporting, Bank reporting for ABL, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, Production Planning and Procurement, Inventory control and month end inventory counts. Working with the CPA Firm to provide information needed for internal audits and managed all due diligence when the company was sold.

SAP Business One - Implementation Consultant & Project management - Conducting full analysis of best business practices and process flows for many small businesses and integrating these process flows into a fully functional ERP system. Working with small businesses and manufacturers to implement inventory control, automated procurement and complex financial reporting designed for each individual businesses needs.

Providing litigation support - Worked with attorneys, CPA's and government agencies assisting in documenting audit trails for prosecution of illegal activities. Trailing funds and misappropriation of funds by auditing accounting software and movement of such funds. Prepared charts and investigative reports for court hearings and settlement conferences. Pieced together the information gathered to reconstruct fraudulent events, prepared visuals aids and presented the evidence to the court.
