CurrentI have worked in housing development for 29 years, starting with the Housing Corporation and G15 Registered Providers. I set up Stokes Duncan Ltd in 2001 and the firm has gained a strong reputation for delivery with a variety of public and private sector clients. As an experienced development professional leading high profile residential and mixed use projects, I provide support to clients on development schemes ranging from large new build developments, to regeneration projects, to listed buildings. I support clients in new business roles, enabling them to establish innovative funding models, create new development companies, build high value market rent portfolios, commercial portfolios and broker joint venture deals on challenging sites. In my recent consultancy work I have run pioneering projects for Local Authorities and Registered Providers. I led setting up Ealing’s council-owned development company, Broadway Living and was interim MD for 2 years. I have also been supporting two other London boroughs in setting up their Housing Companies. Previous work has included conducting an asset management review of a Registered Provider’s key worker portfolio, enabling them to optimise their operations, and leading on large-scale stock transfer and rationalisation project teams.
