As Plastic Free Coordinator for SA, taking a holistic, whole systems approach, I am helping our community to reduce the use of single-use plastics. I work directly with food retailers, events, markets and other organisations and assist them to switch from single-use plastics to better alternatives, such as reusable (preferred) or compostable items. I also work with councils, suppliers, manufacturers, waste transport operators and composters to deliver real solutions to businesses. Lastly, I hope to inspire our community members to make changes in their own life and support those businesses that do too. Plastic Free Places is run by the Boomerang Alliance. We are the peak community not-for-profit organisation working on waste minimisation and recycling in Australia, formed in 2003 and currently comprised of 51 national, state and local allies. We research key issues, develop policy, undertake education, and campaign for best practice laws and programs by government and business. Our core goal is to transition to a zero-waste society by leveraging strategic opportunities to drive best practice resource efficiency and recovery.

Rooted in collaboration and connection, we debunk myths, mindsets and biases around youth with a difference and flipping the script from liability to possibility. With no playbook or existing trail to follow, I was given full freedom and responsibility to design this event and build relationships and enthusiasm employers and stakeholders to participate. WTFuture? took place on November 17th with a program full of panel discussions, workshops and hands-on experience from over 30 different employers across all industries. The party takes a critical stand at the state of affairs within the faculty and defends the interests of the TSB student. The formal role of Stimulus is to take place in the monthly counsel with the Management Team, where the issues concerning the faculty will be discussed. Stimulus has an advising role in the counsel and represent the interests of the TSB student in decisions.

Conducting a quantitive research among the 300 members of OSB concerning the quota for hiring disadvantaged employers and the causes of the high dropout rate in the window cleaning industry.I was responsible for designing and conducting the market research and writing a full report on the findings with recommendations for action.The report was used to support a motion to pass a bill on the implementation of a quota for disadvantaged workers.
