Every experience I have reminds me how much I enjoy supporting young adults. I am a Social Worker who is fascinated with technology-enhanced learning environments and what drives student engagement in higher education. I care about nurturing curiousity, optimism, and passion when assisting learners. My current work in experiential education connects students with opportunities to develop new skills, attitudes, and perspectives that contribute to their lifelong learning, academic, and career success.Outside of work, I serve on the steering committee of Hive Toronto, a collective of youth-serving organizations dedicated to broadening access to technology and building digital fluency in equity-deserving communities. In 2016, I was nominated as a Volunteer Contributor for Mozilla’s All Hands Work Week in London, UK – I’m humbled and grateful for this experience and its impact on my outlook on digital equity. Further involvement in a variety of programs, projects, and initiatives in community have also heightened my interest in all fields ICT-related!
