During my employment worked in many areas of the business from Cashier/Sales Assistant through to Customer Service Advisor, Export Clerk, Call Centre Supervisor, Call Centre Manager and finally, HR Manager. I worked as Call Centre Manager from 1997 to 2001 but started to undertake HR duties from 1999. In 2001 I was offered and accepted the full time role of H.R. Manager, duties included much of those listed above.Main duties and responsibilities as Call Centre Manager included:• Full responsibility for inbound contact centre dealing primarily business to customer with approximately 15% business to business. Maintaining and improving operations and procedures to maximise sales. Actively offering and encouraging the highest standards of customer service throughout the department. • General day to day management of employee's working in three main areas i.e. Order Processing, Customer Service & Returns Processing. Weekly and periodical statistical reporting on departmental efficiency with regards to man hours, productivity and other KPI's set against budget. Responsible for producing weekly and monthly rotas to ensure full cover and minimise lost time.• Monitoring and operation of an InDex Telephone System and associated CCM. Reporting and analysing calls i.e. number answered, lost, periodical peaks and troughs, operator and team performance, maintenance and creation of hunt groups, users and call control plans.• Undertook a key role in the implementation of a fully integrated business wide computer system. As 'Maginus Champion' I was responsible for working alongside IT and the Operations Manager to complete 'business process mapping'. I also coordinated a team to thoroughly test the software and run a pilot ready for 'go-live'. I was responsible for all call centre training in relation to the new system and the production of associated training manuals to ensure all users were proficient.
