Not Just Shopping, was a fund-raising organization founded to help local vendors expand their small business including home based businesses and retail, raised proceeds for non-profits in the Charlotte area. I supported Community Outreach for more than 6 years at the Harris YMCA in Charlotte. I planned, managed and implemented 6-8 events per year. Vendors are required to participate by donating 10% of their proceeds directly to the charity. Not Just Shopping donates proceeds acquired through vendor space rentals. I have enjoyed this business for years, building a network of over 500 vendors and participating in fund-raising in our local community through these fun shopping events.
