She moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW School of Business (college at the beach seemed like the perfect combination), and was fortunate enough to enter the mortgage world immediately after graduation. She learned this business from the ground-up: began as a receptionist, spent 2 years as a loan processor, and then began her career as a loan officer.
