I am a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. David Mooney's laboratory at Harvard University. My current research focuses on investigating the regulation of the tumor immune microenvironment by tissue mechanical properties. Prior to this, I graduated from Vanderbilt University, where I conducted research in Dr. Cynthia Reinhart-King's laboratory. My research interests revolve around understanding the fundamental mechanisms by which extracellular matrix stiffness regulates tumor metastasis and angiogenesis. I utilize various microscopy, molecular biology, and biophotonics techniques in my research.

We reconstructed intracellular compartments in E.coli by expressing an artificial magnetosome membrane gene cluster, quantified the growth of Magnetospirillum Magneticum with a micro fluidic system designed by us. I finished the research article ''The Minimum Gene Set to Determine the Development of Magnetosome Membrane Compartment in Escherichia coli'' as the first author, compiled the lab manual of OUC-iGEM team synthetic biology laboratory as the lab manager. Our team (http://2013.igem.org/Team:OUC-China/) won the best model prize and golden medal, in 2013 iGEM competition, Asia. This project also won the Excellent National Training Programs of Innovation for Undergraduates Project award.
