Guest Service Representative
Current• 4-Month Summer Full-Time Co-op: May - August 2024, Exceed required 500 hours, Actual Completed Hours: 600 hours, Continue to work part-time during school• Co-op Final Employer Evaluation: Total 24 sections, 5/5 in 21 sections, 4/5 in 3 sections, Overall Evaluation: 5/5 Outstanding• 3rd Capilano University TREC Work Term Excellence Award - Co-op Category recipient (only 1 student selected for this co-op category per year since 2022)• Create a positive and memorable guest experience, patiently assist guests in selecting the right products, and upsell products by understanding guests’ needs, wants, and interests with excellent communication• Genuinely greet and answer questions from up to 500 all-aged guests per day, efficiently sell tickets, passes, and retail items, and book add-on activities in 3 different front-desk locations with a high level of customer service• Manage individual/group bookings and general inquiries, resolve guest concerns by answering phone calls and responding to emails from up to 80 guests per day, showcasing effective problem-solving skill• Complete transactions by handling cash and operating point of sale (POS) system with strong time management, and direct up to 100 all-aged guests per day to 11+ attractions/service areas with a high level of customer service• Improve overall guest satisfaction by supervising shuttle bus lineup, welcoming and appreciating up to 800 all-aged guests per day in 2 different locations with excellent multi-tasking and leadership skills• Enhance guest experience and maintain reputation by keeping proactive communication with the team and going above and beyond to help guests and support the team with outstanding teamwork and attention to detail
