alaTest is an international web company founded in 2005, based in Stockholm. Out of the 50 employees, 27 are situated in Wuhan, China. As CTO I'm part of the management team but also very much hands-on with the tech teams and the technology itself. Defined and spearheaded a plan for the delivery organization, tech and process. Lead a stabilization project with a sysadmin contractor, focusing on system monitoring with opsview, virtual server cluster team structures with proxmox, incremental & cloud backup, server reallocation etc. Simplified hosting by shutting down a colocation. Investigated client issues. Architectured column store backend for business intelligence offering.

I started at TriOptima as team lead, taking charge of and delivered a big rearchitecture project. As Head of Development I scaled up the development group into three self managing devops teams with the accompanying process and tool changes for collaboration in larger teams. Introduced Scrum, test driven development, continuous integration and behavior driven development. Scrum master, technical strategy work, management of various technology changes. Doubling the size of the development organization has also involved a fair amount of recruitment work and personnel management.

Nodensa was a start-up in the IT/wellness industry, running online coaches for diet and exercise planning / analysis. I managed the development team and I set up an Agile development process. I was also very much hands-on with the technology, which is built using a typical Web 2.0 framework with EJB 3, Hibernate, Struts 2, JSP and Ajax (JSON) running on JBoss and MySQL.

Product manager for mophun, a cross platform mobile games middleware embedded in 30+ million handsets worldwide. When joining Synergenix I turned mophun from a promising hack into a real product with processes, packaging and marketing material. I was project lead for all mophun related projects. I dealt with over 100 customers ranging from handset manufacturers, platform technology companies, carriers, provisioning system companies, content aggregators, game developers and publishers. The ones I worked the most with were Sony Ericsson, TTPCom, 3UK and CMCC.I promoted the product at Game Developer Conference in San José, 3GSM in Cannes and JavaOne in San Francisco. I made trade show presentations at GDC and Symbian Expo in London. Over the years I worked extensively with partners Nokia, Motorola, Intel, Symbian and Terraplay. As mophun team lead I managed a team of 5-10 people - HR, recruiting, process work etc.Member of Synergenix Interactive management group. I was also acting COO for seven months when the company was transitioning between CEO:s. I negotiated a $1,000,000 professional indemnity and liability insurance for the company, as required by our new large customers.Synergenix got acquired and changed name to Blaze Entertainment, then Blaze got acquired by IPlay (Oberon Media). I created a server technology group, working with technologies and strategies for connected mobile gaming and provisioning. We evolved an enterprise Java system for revenue sharing built using Java, JSP, Struts, Hibernate, Tomcat, MySQL etc. Built a mobile games wap store featuring both WML and XHTML support and Omniture web analytics integration. Helped the IPlay team in Great Britain with Ruby (on Rails) server side development.Member of IPlay Sweden management group. IPlay Sweden was shut down in early 2008.

Software development for various clients, notably 15 months as tech lead on a project at Handelsbanken and an e-commerce project at Torget.Doubled as Quality Manager, leading the TickIT certification.
