The onstage host of TEDxYouth@Curaçao -- the master of ceremonies -- is the public face of the TEDx event. Sole responsible for introducing all of the original content, keeping the program on schedule and representing the vision for the event.For the second time Curaçao experienced a TED event. The first time was in December 2011 and it was a huge success and certainly worth repeating.This time TEDxYouth@Curacao was held on the 16th of June 2012 at the Tula Hall of Kurá Hulanda Hotel at 2.30 pm till 7.00 pm.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Even though TED is known as Technology, Entertainment and Design, the focus areas have been extended. TEDxYouth@Curaçao sets a good example, where ideas concerning art, music, film and sports will be also presented. The event has a special added value, because it’s organized and presented by teenagers between ten and eighteen years old. The subjects of these presentations vary from inspirational life stories, innovative ideas and performances of young local artists. About TEDTED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.
