Senior Field Officer
Current•Manage 15 Field staff and resources like budget, ensuring high standard of performance is delivered on all projects and timely troubleshoot field-related challenges including managing advocacy activities such as obtaining introduction and permission letters needed for fieldwork, logistics, and staff performance issues.•Develop and drive work plans outlining objectives, goals, timelines, tasks, and resources required.•Resolve conflicts within and between projects operation areas and ensure adherence to research protocols, including monitoring data quality, and data flow and ensuring data security.•Assist the Research Associate and Field Manager in planning, coordination, and reporting field outcomes on day to day basis and ensure completion of scheduled activities in a timely manner including updating reports of work accomplished.•Tracking and updating the inventory of all project items assigned to the teams.•Assist Field manager in the development of training materials including standard operating procedures and field manuals.•Financial management which includes imprest request and returns through process maker, proper budgeting and monitoring filed expenses while ensuring the project keeps detailed accounts of all project activities.•Staff development through weekly/monthly feedback sessions and annual performance reviews and goal setting.•Monitored staff attendance and updated attendance record including leave and enforced all Human resources policies and procedures in coordination with the HR department and the Field manager.•Assisted in building and maintaining relationships with civil Administrators and community officials and representing IPAK at stakeholders’ meetings.•Participated in weekly meetings with project management by developing and discussing supervision plan updating them on activities and plans.
