• Participated in the initiation of AIYO Radio (social media platform), including target audience analysis, operation strategy and content composition. The radio targeted all North American Chinese international student’s groups, and was the first radio-based social media platform among international students. • Producing content composition and regularly conducted interviews over the hot issues in the Bloomington area; prepared news-oriented research and covered serious issues under tight deadlines. • Anchored radio program once a week; one story reached 4500+ page views, ranking #1 among all programs.• Planned off-line activities, including “Singles Night on Valentine’s Day” which was attended by 200+ people and earned ~$1000 profit and expanded the popularity of AIYO Radio.

• Wrote and published 10+ articles in both print and digital formats, interviewing subjects following specific themes every week in Indiana’s first bi-lingual (Chinese/English) publication. • Translated and introduced Asia-related articles from English to Chinese to provide different fields of information to readers from the mainstream media. • Led team of 3 volunteers in fundraising $1000+ in one day by encouraging people to buy lottery tickets table by table with all lottery money going to charity in 2016 Indy Asian American Times Constellation Awards Gala.

• Participated in covering the most disastrous flood in the last decade in Southern China, reporting from the field and interviewing victims on site and the officers from Flood Control and Drought Relief Command Center.• Edited news scripts and voiceovers daily for the 6:30P.M. evening news. • Learned the broadcast news production process and studied various forms of news programming.
