There are two types of Lego: Pre-Boxed which you know what to build, and not Pre-Boxed which you can create whatever you like.I chose the second type of Lego, that is why I am studying Math and Statistics. I use what I learned to piece concepts together, and build models on top of numbers (data sets):--I helped a director of TRIO program to understand the profile of admitted students and non-admitted students. (R)--I helped advisors to picture the patterns of students come in for advising. (SAS)--I creatively used a survey software to build a SAS procedure recommendation system. (SAS, Qualtrics, HTML, CSS)As a student analytic leader, I help students with their projects relate to data analysis: from how to collect data, and how to use Excel, SAS, SPSS, to how to interpreting the results. The projects I helped with are crossed several different disciplines: social science, finance, economics, marketing, and database. About myself:-- I am a SAS Certified programmer-- I have big ideas and try to execute them.-- I like solving problems, and strive to understand each problem.-- I have very good work ethic.-- I like doing things and getting things done.-- I am always learning, and excited to learn from everybody.-- I carry a curious heart and ask a lot of questions-- I like to explore new things, discover new opportunities.-- I have passed 3 Actuarial exams: Models for Financial Economics, Financial Math, and ProbabilityCareer goal: using data modeling to solve problems, and striving to make a difference for the society.Recent Activity:-- Regularly attend Chicago Chapter of the American Statistical Association Monthly Meetings
