Fiona is a certified Dyslexia Specialist with the British Dyslexia Association and an Associate Member of The Orton Gillingham Academy. She holds a Postgraduate in Specific Learning Difficulties and Neurodevelopmental Disorders and a Master in Music Therapy from the University of Barcelona. Fiona is also an ADHD Clinical Services Provider and has trained in self-regulation and social skills programmes.Originally from Galway, Ireland, Fiona has worked in both public and international schools in Ireland, England, Italy and Spain over the past 18 years. As a dyslexia and learning specialist Fiona has extensive experience in planning interventions, teaching, advising colleagues and implementing individualised teaching programmes. She has helped to develop early years literacy programmes, provided teacher training workshops and whole class teacher modelling as well as individual student support. She has a specific interest in supporting multilingual learners and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
