Packhouse (Production/Operations) Manager - Twypack Packhouse
- Three Export Seasons 2021 to 2023Twypack is currently the largest automated Soft Citrus facility in the Southern Hemisphere.- I joined Twypack in 2021 in its final season using the old 10 ton per hour line and packed 15K metric tons.- In 2022 we upgraded the facility to a 45 ton per hour capacity. In this first season on the new equipment, we packed 23K metric tons. - In 2023 we packed 35K Metric Tons- Within the 2 to 3 years following Twypack is targeted to reach 75K metric tons. - The facility has two main outlets automation (70%) and manual (30%).● Facility Major Upgrade : Design Review and Improvements (Facility and Equipment) , Contractor Deadlines , targets review and snag-list control. (On this project the upgrade design was already in place when I joined the company however I was involved integrally throughout the actual project execution.)● Production Season : Operational and Systems Planning with Execution● Strengths in all areas of packhouse operations from Receiving and Grading (including de-greening), right through to Production, Packaging and Dispatch.● Stocks Control & Requisitions● Quality Control● Staff & General Other Safety, Training, PPE, etc.● Records & Administration● Annual Budget Review● Responsible that all strict audit standards (Global.G.A.P, Siza Social, BRCGS, HACCP (Market Required Specifications) are always in conformity and taught to the staff as common practice.● Soft Citrus : Leanri , RHM , Satsuma, Orri , Nadorcott (General and LS)● Annual Strategic Review
