Projects (also) need a good story.This is one of the biggest things I learned on my journey at RUHR PM. Five years ago, project management was not yet tangible for me and a cumbersome term that didn't sound very attractive either.I was still missing the right story and the mindset to go with it (perhaps understandable after five years of film production and a lot of creative freedom).Five intensive years later, with a great team of project managers and a few live sessions in our master class, I can not only understand the enthusiasm for project management, but also share it.Admittedly, a well-structured Excel table with all the data on the project doesn't (yet) put me in the same ecstasy as a project manager...I can still understand it 😉My job starts where planning documents become the common thread for the stories that make projects successful. I deal with questions like: What does a steering committee need? What does the client ask themselves? How do I reach stakeholders?It is important to understand that communication is always individual, because everyone needs different information and/or their own story.The magic lies in finding the right tone and content for each person.
