Businessman with keen instincts and the boldness to follow them, spent more than 20 years turning property into profit. After completing a BSc Building Management degree at University of Pretoria, spent a few years learning the ins and outs of the construction business before becoming the CEO of Emboss Properties: a private equity vehicle created in 1997. Emboss has been successfully investing in under-valued real estate and agribusinesses across South Africa. Its portfolio ranges from luxury villas to farms specializing in Boran Stud cattle, Game and Maize/Soybean (season crops). I took up various leadership roles within the construction and property development industry, first in South Africa and then in the Middle East, before finding a home at IFA Hotels & Resorts (IFA HR) in May 2003 in Dubai as President & Chief Operating Officer As the largest foreign investor on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah, IFA HR tasked me with driving the design, development and handover of 4,056 keys in the MENA region. Since 2013, my family and I are back in South Africa as the CEO of IFA HR for Africa & Indian Ocean with more than 10 years of International experience to leverage from. Recently I secured the rights to bring North American’s largest real estate brokerage – Keller Williams – to the Western Cape, Kwa Zulu Natal in South Africa and the Middle East. As a result, a new company called KWEmboss (Keller Williams|Emboss) was formed with me as CEO.
