Werner has previously completed a BA (Hons) in Motion Picture Production at AFDA film school (ZA). He has worked at the offices of the South African news agency, eNCA, for roughly eight years in multiple production capacities (and departments) and received an award as most valuable team-member in his department at eNuus, where he was both the bulletin producer as well as post-production coordinator. He was praised for being a well-mannered and hard-working employee who could accomplish any task put before him. During his studies he worked at the university as an assistant to the marketing manager and ran the Young Filmmakers Project. He was nominated for, and received awards from the university and graduated at the top of his class. He is a fast learner, has great people’s skills and has a very friendly and professional demeanor. His duties included adding content to social media platforms, monitoring and writing international news stories, quality control, producing the live broadcasts, and managing all logistical and technical operations.
