Uster /Zurich based ICON Outdoor AG was founded in 1995 and converted into a limited company in 2010.ICON aimes to be the leading interface between outdoor manufacturers and retailers in terms of portfolio, service level, competence and sustainable business development & business volume per capita generated for the brands we represent.Our strength? Implementation of brand specific go-to-market strategies with adaption to the swiss market's particularities. Besides of the swiss-german part of our country, we have a strong representation in the french and and italian speaking regions as well. We serve those markets from a showroom in the french part, offices/showroom in the Zurich area and one in the eastern part of our country.The importance of trade fairs as sales plattform is decreasing, accessability for retailers to their prefered brands gains importance:Whilst many distributions are closing showrooms and centralise their sales activities, we do the opposite and move to where the business is. We have a long term extended knowledge of the outdoor industry as well as the swiss outdoor- & sports market combined with an broad and solid retailer base including all key players in all segments of it- offline as well as online. ICON serves the outdoor- as well as the sports industry. Travelling, Van Life & related markets are part of our ecosphere. Depending on the brands and products we have a close network in core outdoor, outdoor lifestyle, mobile power solutions, consumer electronics, links to institutional organisations, such as the army, search and rescue organisations, NGOs.Since 2012 we work in certain product categories with resellers, which opens markets in addition to Icon's domain. This allows broad and holistic market approaches in line with our supplier's strategy. We manage our retailers and resellers to guarantee a structured approach in selected channels to keep best possible control on a brand's distribution. Our promise?
