I was a Technical Support Clerk in the South African Airforce - January 1989 up to October 2001 when I resigned to start my career in the Civilian Sector.Since November 2001 up to July 2005 I worked at Marie's Scrap Metal Dealer as a Satellite Shop Manager up to July 2005 at which time I was offer employment as a Maintenance Planner at 1time airlines / Aeronexus AMO which operated / maintained the DC9-15, DC9-32 / MD82 / MD83 and MD85 aircraft. The other key maintenance operations was servicing 3rd Party Aircraft with the likes of the Djibouti Presidential B727-200 VIP aircraft and other B737-200 / 300 aircraft.After 1Time airlines amalgamation with SAFAIR Technical we started as Jetworx AMO since 2009. In 2012 I resigned and continued as a Maintenance Planner at JETCENTER Aircraft Maintenance (JCAM) which was a subsidiary of Africa charter Airlines which operated and Maintained Freighter Aircraft. The Fleet consisted of 3 B737-200 and B727-200 Freighter and later Acquired a MD83 passenger aircraft, which later being replaced by B737-300's and B737-500'sAfter 8 years, I applied at Air-Link which operated and maintained the RJ145, Embraer 135 and 145 and 190's. In 2019 I was employed as an Maintenance Planner as part of a team of 12 other Maintenance Planners. In 2021 June I resigned from Airlink and started with Air-Tec Global at which I am still part of a team of 3 other Maintenance Planners of which we service 38 Let 410/420 and B1900 Aircraft. In all these companies I was responsible to offer all Maintenance Servicing requirements, from tracking maintenance to archiving of all the documents for each of my allocated aircraft. It is a broad spectrum and a career I am absolutely dedicated to and Love to do.I am looking for a brighter future to broaden my horizons.
