Dealership Financial Manager
Current• Manage and control the full financial and administration function and processes of the dealership along with two administration staff members. This included but is not limited to: including the preparation of the management reports. Preparing weekly, monthly and annual financial reports. Producing financial and management information (including trends, analysis and benchmarking against Group Dealerships). Maintaining the integrity and reliability of the financial data within Rev 8. • Preparing, monitoring & measuring budgets compliance with the departmental managers. • Manage legislative, audit and group risk and compliance standards.• Daily supervision of the cash and stock management activities to establish the dealerships working capital requirements to achieve satisfactory returns on investments. • Establish internal controls and processes and utilise staff within departments to implement, monitor, control and report back on any deviation from set control targets. • Develop, set and monitoring of dealerships and departmental financial policies, objectives and goals. Develop ways to monitor achievements in line with the weekly, monthly and yearly goals and ways to report and correct deviations.• Developed, implemented and monitored strategies for departmental growth and ensure maximum efficiencies for growth and profitability. • Responsible for dealership corporate identity, cleaning staff and daily building maintenance.• Responsible for information technology (hardware and software) within the dealership and reporting back to the centralised IT department in Johannesburg.• Responsible for human resource function for the dealership and reporting the data for processing by the centralized HR department in Johannesburg.• Responsible for supplier purchasing within the dealership, except parts and specific departmental consumables. This included identification of suppliers, negotiation, purchasing and monitoring.
