I'm entrusted with an amazing team of 10 talented developers and 4 QA specialists tasked with maintaining and modernizing the company's #1 priority ETL process. This product is responsible for transforming millions of police accident data records into a normalized structure for Carfax to use as data for their Vehicle History reports. Using XP programming concepts such as pair programming with a strong emphasis on TDD, we create dependable solutions that meet the requirements of business. As a full stack developer at heart, I enjoy working on both legacy systems as well as modernizing them. I get to work closely with friends in an agile environment where adaptability and teamwork are essential for ensuring ticket completion in our sprints. I have first-hand experience in all phases of the development life cycle including ticket creation, requirements review, ticket sizing, and support in the production environment. On a weekly basis I work with my team to plan our sprints, problem solve, code review and ensure requirements are met upon delivery to the QA specialist. I have the privilege to participate with a team that creates innovative ways to improve our processes and have a fun time while doing it. At GoodLife I get the joy of using several fun (and not so fun. Looking at you Microsoft SSIS.) technologies to create our APIs, web applications, and databases including .NET Framework 4.7, .NET CORE, SQL Server 2015, Azure Databases, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft SSIS.Some example projects I've worked on...Azure Database Migration:• Migrate existing applications from using virtual machines to azure database services• Utilized KeyVault in order to hide sensitive credentials when accessing new database• Ensure existing data pipeline from Exerp to our core databases had adequate performance (database scaling, proper indexing of tables, performance enhancements to stored procedures, use of external tables and queries)CERT• Used an MVC design pattern for a front end, a facade api to handle business requirements, which would then connect to our databases using entity framework or send requests to our CRUD APIs to send payloads to Exerp• Created various Azure Logic Apps to provide 0365 emailers to provide support internally as well as for public facing emails services• Work closely and quickly with helpdesk to handle production issues with the CERT client
