Manage a $14M+ portfolio of 10 retailers ranging from brick-and-mortar behemoths to e-commerce only retailers. Collaborate with all functions of a small business including, development, design, accounting, supply chain, and many others functions to ensure products are delivered per retailer’s deadlines.  Lead a team within first two months of employment, to expand our assortment at a larger grocer retailer by 78 skus, driving annual revenue growth by $320K, or 10% of the total portfolio, and finding a mutually profitable program for SportPet and our retailer.  Quickly became a presentation specialist, creating effective and well laid out presentations to deliver recommendations to retailers. Presentations have been posted to sales team shared drive as best practice.  Expanded assortment at world’s largest retailer by 40 skus via collaborative relationship built with buyers, leading to YoY growth of 23%. Worked to improve processes to streamline new item setup, inventory management and weekly sales to budget tracking.

Lead a team of eight board members in addition to multiple committee chairmen. Collaborated with the Principal and administration to accomplish goals of providing fiscal resources for various projects which influence the school’s culture. Effectively maintained a $60K budget. Coordinated volunteers to cover two major fundraisers and various other opportunities which warrant direct parent and community involvement. Designed and implemented a new process for fulfillment of approved Ways and Means Grant requests which included sharing details with parents in real time via social media, boosting enthusiasm for the program and increasing donations. Implemented fiscal transparency, which had been historically absent, by creating presentations to outline exactly where the funds were being sourced and spent, all of which increased donor satisfaction. Successfully scrutinized and reallocated various budgeted line items in order to move $10K of unutilized or underutilized funds into the playground replacement fund. Developed personal connections with other Barretts’ families to fill hundreds of available volunteer positions.

Recruited to serve as President after multiple years of active involvement in spearheading event planning. Created weekly connection events for members and directed service projects. Led a team of five board members and five coordinators. Aptly managed a tight budget of $1.5K, exercising efficiency in spending and soliciting donations. Grew the organization by 20% by seeking out fellow new members and actively selling MOMS Club when socializing throughout the community. Designed and implemented two annual donation drives (Holiday and Backpacks) to benefit the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition Proudly donated budget excess of $500 to the Foster and Adoptive Coalition due to effective financial oversight.

 Actively managed a portfolio of 15 customers with $82M+ in outstandings. Served as product manager of the underwriting process, including oversight and professional development of two analysts, direction collaboration with Credit Officers, and analytical support to Relationship Managers. Seamlessly controlled multiple, simultaneous projects within tight deadlines. Built impactful relationships with Business Owners, CFOs, and other key stakeholders to ensure the best possible solutions for each financing need.

 Analyzed the pet category for Midwest grocery retailers in effort to glean and implement best practices, including, Kroger, Publix, Meijer, Hy Vee, Winn Dixie, and Schnucks. Developed original digital and print retail promotions to drive sales and gain awareness of trending items.

 Consistently exceeded sales targets and delivered $44M+ in total direct sales, with a 103 index vs. YAG (+1.1 and +6.0 total share points at Rural King and Blains Farm & Home.) Gained 3K+ points of distribution at the top three retailers and expanded distribution of core SKUs. Revamped the PSG Distributor 3rd Party Coverage through research and negotiation, with $200K+ in NPP savings.  Collaborated with various departments/distributors to create a virtual dog food aisle and boost distribution at the bi-annual Mid States trade shows.

 Oversaw 12 Distributors and 50 Retail Accounts with $253M in total sales. Drove incremental Pet Saturation promotional activity at Tractor Supply (TSC) through marketplace/best practices insights, all of which led to a sales lift averaging 150% (+$50K in incremental sales dollars). Developed and presented a merchandising playbook for the Mid States fall show to 150 managers/members.

 Co-managed all 12 Supervalu/Albertsons accounts to ensure budget compliance and sales volume performance, with $195M in total sales. Established complex Excel-based financial models, allowing for analysis and monitoring of business results, volume, and profitability.

 Oversaw 40 relationships with $100M+ in outstandings, generating $922K in annual revenue. Developed rapport with non-profit organizations and middle-market corporations to tailor customer solutions. Analyzed commercial financial performance using Risk Analyst and industry financial metrics and aptly presented detailed analysis to executive management.
