The EODC is an open and international cooperation, bringing together multi-national partners from science, the public and private sectors in order to foster the use of earth observation (EO) data. We manage and operate a virtualised, distributed EO data centre, providing collaborative IT infrastructure for archiving, processing, and distributing EO data. Collaborative activities as carried out within the EODC Cooperation Network are organised in so-called Communities that bring together EODC Cooperation Partners who have mutually agreed to engage in a collaborative activity. My job is to facilitate communication and cooperation in these Communities. I am focused on driving the definition of the Communities‘ goals and roadmap, as well as support and maintain effective collaboration in order to achieve these goals and deliver on the roadmap.
