Dit is software voor het maken van normcalculaties op het gebied van voertuigschades. Mijn werkzaamheden variëren van 3e-lijns technisch klantsupport en applicatiebeheer, tot aan softwareontwikkeling van api-koppelingen. Daarnaast houd ik de datnederland.nl website bij en onderhoud ik contacten met businesspartners als integrators en voertuigschade-expertisebureaus.

In ITIL terms, this involves incident management, problem management, change management and release management.

Managing the customer helpdesk of this fantastic Internet Solutions Provider. Supervising/coaching the Helpdesk, 12 FTE avg. age 23yrs. Support provided for shared hosting platform, dedicated hosting and managed networks. Sucessfully implemented and laying the ground work for the ISO20000 Incident Management Process within the company for System Administration department and helpdesk.

LANtrust is an innovative MSP (Managed Service Provider) in Noord-Holland Noord and Friesland. They're experts in Automated Remote System Administration. Also, LANtrust delivers IT Consultancy and System Administration Personnel for its customers. My role in this company was being the middle man between LANtrust and closing the gap between customer promise and experience. Also responsible for presales activities, and selling HP hardware, software and internet access products ranging from xDSL to fiber solutions.

At Remia (producer of edible oils and fat products) I worked as an IT Co-ordinator, responsible for IT-systems throughout the company. This comprised system administration of 3 Novell Servers (up to Netware 6.5) and co-administrate 4 AS/400's and 100 to 150 PC's and notebooks. Provide support on 20 workstations, located in Industrial environments (production plants) and maintain and develop the network infrastructure. Guiding/coaching 1 Novell System Administrator and team up with a dedicated AS/400 software engineer.Managing servers, VPN-solutions and firewalls (Novell Bordermanager, FortiGate, various Consumer-Grade firewalling solutions), configuring the AS/400 for advanced networking roles. Implementing software business solutions like Inovis' BizConnect on AS/400 and Novell Server (EDI system through AS1/AS2 and FTP standards). Worked on setting up 2 AS/400's in a High Availability configuration. Managed a project for infrastructure (fiber) redundancy, disaster recovery testing, documenting IT-contingency plan. On the extracurricular-side: I became member of the Remia 'proefteam' (new products test team).

RPG/CL developer on IBM i-Series (AS/400) Systems. As an analyst/programmer, I worked on MSD's manufacturing ERP software ("Data III"). The job involved adding new features (such as performance planning software) and maintaining parts of the system to new requirements. Setting up guides and manuals.Contact with internal customers throughout different countries in EMEA region. English main language used. Other responsibilities involved setting up and maintain the backup process (BDRMS on AS/400). Finally actually manage the IT team as IT Team Leader, attend internationally held IT Management Meetings, responsible for setting up budget planning. Ensure local IT acts in line with corporate policy.

Komart used to be a regional supermarket chain. I was part of a small IT team of 3FTE, this was a an allround position.IT Administration/helpdesk: I provided IT systems remote admin support or on premises hands-on support that covered the company's head quarters and 27 branches. Windows NT Server admin/trainer. Progress 4GL development, created user-end tooling for the new DistRetail logistics/ERP system. Created migration tooling for DistRetail logistics software. Provided user traing for POS (point of sale) software.Responsible for internal network and setting up an ISDN-based network to connect all locations with HQ. Worked with Bull hardware (GCOS), Certec POS (Tec MA841/Tec FT77), DIGI (Tec) scales, DistRetail erp/warehouse software, on IBM RS6000. Co-ordinated (some nightly) roll outs of new hardware in stores.

As a Clipper developer I co-developed the "WLP" application (Wegtransport Logistiek Programma"), custumer focused software to manage and monitor shipments.Programming environment used was Clipper 5.1 and Blinker software.Besides this, I set up the TBBS system (multi-modem based Bulletin Board System) to inform customers of realtime Track And Trace data, that customers could query over a analogue modem connection. Programming environment: "XBase". This software interfaced with IBM S/36. Wegtransport was one of the pioneers providing Track And Trace data to their logistics customers!
