Sustainable Environmental Technologies - SET GmbH represents a project development, facilitation, implementation and financing group in the field of renewable energy projects, integrated waste management, waste water treatment, and greenhouse gas reduction. Our core competence represents advanced multi stage biogas production from mixed waste inlay materials involving biomass from municipal waste, agro industry waste, miscanthus, elephant grass and different manure structures.Within the SET Group we have developed the biggest biogas producers in Austria, the largest introducer of refined biogas into natural gas grids in Europe and one of the main biogas operators in Europe.We have developed extensive experience in biogas refinery and biogas powered mobility concepts involving renewable energy independence (CNG vehicle fuel production from biogas).SET GmbH Austria has been established as development capacity focusing on know how transfer and sustainable development within new EU countries, transit states and developing countries.SET designs and implements tailor made community based solutions for all kinds of waste production and waste water treatment applying separation, advanced recycling for highly effective material recovery, waste packing and confinement, digestion and fermentation processes, composting and treatment of special waste fractions such as hospital waste, industrial waste, construction waste, animal production waste, used tires, etc. SET also designs projects in the field of renewable energy such as hydro power, solar power, small scale wind and applied energy conservation technologies (advanced insulation technologies, low cost housing). SET is currently implementing projects in Austria, Romania, Germany, western Africa, Nigeria, Latin America and the Eastern Caribbean.. We are specialised on PPP establishment and individual financing solutions in cooperation with our groups financing partners.
