I am a freelance film curator & festival programmer, as well as a film consultant for feature-, medium-length and short film projects, advising on and creating complex festival and theatrical distribution strategies, outreach & impact campaigns, finding funding opportunities and completing grant applications (i.a. for MEDIA).I am also the co-founder and programmer of the HER Docs initiative in Poland, which aims at supporting, promoting and disseminating the oeuvre of women filmmakers (with a particular focus on documentary and experimental films, video artworks and animations). One of its main accomplishments is the HER Docs Film Festival - the first documentary film festival in Poland presenting nonfiction films directed by women, with two editions organised in 2020 and 2021, and the HER Docs Forum (2023, 2024) - a new initiative bringing together women documentary film professionals, but also a series of events promoting abroad films of a young generation of women filmmakers from Poland (i.a. at Porto Femme International Film Festival, filmPOLSKA in Berlin, Embrace Platform in Hannover and We Do festival in Oslo).In the years 2014-2017, I worked for the Berlin based documentary world sales company Rise And Shine World Sales, for which I co-created and managed its theatrical distribution branch Rise And Shine Cinema. Altogether, I brought to German cinemas a total of 11 documentary films, with their audiences exceeding 200,000 viewers across Germany.In 2009-2014, I worked for Against Gravity - the leading Polish documentary and arthouse distribution company and organizer of the largest documentary film festival in Poland, Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival, which I also co-programmed.I was also an active member of the Moving Docs initiative that enabled the selection of the best European documentaries to cross borders and reach new audiences by combining event cinema with innovative distribution.I am an alumna of the Berlinale Talents 2018 programme, which supports young talents in the film industry. A contributing expert at the Documentary Convention 2019 (DC'19) in Leipzig - an annual international convening of the documentary community with a focus on documentary industries of the Arab region and Europe. I am also invited as a member of international juries (i.a. Porto Femme IFF, Kreivės - Vilnius Queer Festival, Spektrum Film Festival), as a film selectioner (i.a. Watch Docs IFF, Hainan Island IFF) and a contributing expert on various panels and meetings (i.a. Doclisboa, Sevil International Women's Documentary FF).

Each year the festival shows over fifty world-class films. At the international festival in Warsaw, a touring festival in more than thirty Polish towns and an online festival, a total of over one hundred thousand viewers take part in screenings each year. WATCH DOCS is also the oldest documentary film festival in Warsaw - the first edition of the festival took place in 2001.
