My research project investigated intercultural pragmatic aspects of expressing opinions amongst Polish and Irish students.

Teaching up to 150 students per semester; dealing with young adults, mature students, and exchange students from Europe and beyond. Tutoring objectives are developing cultural and linguistic awareness among students to facilitate foreign language learning and facilitate critical view of the media and other cultural products. Tutoring entails:- preparation and delivery of tutorials according to set objectives, - promoting discussion and exploring issues relevant to students' experiences- ongling liasion with module leaders and fellow tutors- assistance in matters relating to module content, as well as developing group projects and presentations- grading of in-class assessments, presentations and group essays - providing group and individual feedback.

I worked with Lionbridge as an interpreter on a freelance basis. My working languages are Polish, English and Spanish.

I worked in a children's as well as ladies' fashion shops. My duties included advising and looking after customers, merchandising and managing daily & weekly sales reports, opening and closing of the shop, as well as all cash & credit card duties.

I worked as a teacher's assistant in a secondary school in Córdoba, Spain as part of Comenius programme. My duties included:-facilitating conversation-based classes to 12 to 19 year-olds with language levels ranging from elementary to lower intermediate (Bachillerato)- helping senior teachers in class- compliling and organising material for future langauge assistants in the English department
