As a Co-Founder and Principal of Within Light Studio, I have over 15 years of experience in architectural lighting design. My background in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute enables me to blend technical expertise with creative vision. I view lighting as a powerful tool that shapes human experiences and elicits emotion.Throughout my career, I have worked on a diverse range of projects internationally, including luxury hotels, refined restaurants, and high-end private residences. My work has been recognized in esteemed publications such as Architectural Digest and Interior Design Magazine. I am also proud to have received prestigious awards for my work, including a MUSE Design Award for Sushi Azabu in New York, the Magnlens Flagship store in Los Angeles and LIT Lighting Awards for Moxy Downtown LA and the AC Hotel LA.Since founding Within Light Studio in 2020, my team and I have embraced a holistic approach to each project, considering every aspect of a space to balance aesthetic appeal, functional utility, and the desires of the human experience. At the core of our work is a deep empathy for the individuals who inhabit and interact with these spaces—both guests and operational teams.
