I research and author National Register of Historic Places nomination forms, as well as amendments and updates to currently listed sites, for clients. I conduct oral histories and in-depth archival research for clients who wish to establish a detailed history of an organization, building, or individual in order to celebrate milestones, legacies, and preserve the past. I write engaging and accessible histories and historic contexts that accurately and succinctly portray historical significance in a fashion that is both informative and understandable.

I will use the collected oral histories, along with scanned images from various local collections, to put together a digital story for widespread use.

Processed photographic collections for digital accessibility by re-housing, scanning, researching and creating metadata for collections and updating the information in ContentDM and Past Perfect. Created multiple finding aids to assist researchers in accessing the collections.

Conducted tours, assisted with general administrative work, and conducted research on the grounds. Held the position of Interim Executive Director. Responsibilities included managing the schedules of volunteers and tours, showing the property for prospective rentals, managing finances, handling correspondence with patrons and the community, and other administrative duties.

Catalogued and transferred thousands of artifacts to off-site storage, including newspapers, manuscripts, and museum collections as part of the Special Collections team. Audited accession records in Past Perfect ensuring that artifacts were accurately described, enhancing the records when possible.

Oversaw laboratory methods with artifact processing, analysis, and curation, and excavated sites to determine historical/prehistoric significance.

As a minor league baseball player I developed excellent time management skills, was very dedicated, and worked hard to make mine and my coaches' goals.
