Responsible for developing new cluster job management software, as well as onlining new computational clusters and maintenance of new and existing systems.Significant projects include:- Rewrote existing web-based bioinformatics applications to utilize SOAP-based Web services.- Developed both a generic Perl command line client for interacting with existing Web and Grid services, as well as a module extending SOAP::Lite to support Opal-specific complex types.

Built a trigram part of speech tagger using Hidden Markov Machines. Augmented a Levantine Arabic corpus with Modern Standard Arabic data using machine learning techniques.
