- develop web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript- work with project managers and stakeholders to develop scopes of work- architect single page, rich internet applications (often Angular and custom JavaScript, though lately I've been transitioning to React)- build custom CSS frameworks using OOCSS principles and BEM-like syntax- work with back-end developers to integrate with a variety of CMS solutions across different languages (JVM, .Net, PHP)- mentor a team of 6 other front-end developers- conduct code reviews for my team, for hiring candidates, and for my peers- organize tech talks for my team to explore cutting edge technology and techniques in front-end- sit on a committee of Principle Software Engineers to provide direction to the front-end discipline at our company- assist in maintaining our company coding standards and in updating them as technology changes- assist and sometimes lead task forces focused on improving internal processes and tools within the front-end discipline and company as a whole- on occasion, I do some UX design
