    • We managed 120 Node Elasticsearch 7 and 8 clusters to support the Planet Search API and internal workloads. We utilized Ansible to deploy and configure ES nodes on VMs in Google Compute Engine.• Created a real-time publishing pipeline enabling our internal teams to publish images to our history catalog. Powered by Google BigTable and fronted by a Go web server to ensure data validation using JSONSchema. Following changes to a row in BigTable, our service emits republish events. These changes are then carefully queued for indexing in Elasticsearch. I used Cloud Dataflow’s Apache Beam SDK (supported by Apache Flink) to move data for analysis in BigQuery.• Created an Elasticsearch indexing service that automatically scales imagery publishing depending on cluster health and customer traffic. By switching from HTTP batch publishes and Python to Google PubSub, GRPC, and Go, this service achieved a publishing throughput of 80 times its previous level.• Implemented Elasticsearch Percolator to aid a subscription service for imagery. This service automatically identifies corresponding imagery based on customer specifications, avoiding excessive Search API querying in search looking for updates. This timely delivery service successfully met our imagery delivery SLOs.
