NECC has local licenses to open adult-use cannabis retail and cultivation in Dracut and retail in Pepperell, both in Massachusetts. Stores are expected to open in 2020. We run a network of small cultivators and manufacturers across Massachusetts that are in every stage of licensing, from currently operating to pre-application and everywhere in between.

Created and managed the electoral program for MassEquality's 2012 legislative election cycle and 2013 special elections. Responsibly re-sized and re-branded MassEquality's elections work and successfully elected 26 of 29 endorsed candidates to the MA State Legislature. Responsible for directing and managing the work of 4 full-time and 4 part-time staff, and launching a successful intern program of 14+ interns. Presented at and spoke on local and national panels about MassEquality's electoral and public policy work, and the LGBT movement nation-wide. Routinely spoke with press about the LGBT movement in Massachusetts and nation-wide, including the Boston Globe, Fox 25 News, NECN, Sunday Talk Radio and LGBT press. Registered lobbyist for MassEquality to lobby legislators to support priority legislation to prevent LGBT homelessness and bullying, and furthered the organization's mission by creating an LGBT "coalition agenda" of economic justice, health disparities, reproductive choice, sex education and other progressive policy issues.

Represented students aged 12-18 in expulsion hearings, suspension hearings, magistrate hearings, and other forums related to school discipline issues. Worked with school administrators to develop IEP's that met the educational needs of my clients and their families in order to ensure that my clients had access to a quality public education.

Conducted bail hearings and motion preparation at the Middlesex District Attorney's office in Lowell District Court.

Drafted visa applications, asylum claims, and wrote appellate briefs in a wide range of immigration cases.
