Cooper Standard is a leading global supplier of fluid handling and sealing system solutions in diverse transportation and industrial markets.I lead all human resources operations for a facility with up to 550+ employees producing automotive parts to over 6 manufacturers across the world. This includes recruiting, retention, employee relations, compensation/benefits, and compliance.I joined Cooper in the post-pandemic world and eliminated a staffing shortfall and mitigated turnover issues within my first year.

Diversity Vuteq is an internal logistics, just-in-time supplier for Toyota Motor Manufacturing. We manage the orderly picking process and small parts sequencing based on our customer's orders.I managed all human resources and safety functions for 300+ employee plastic injection manufacturer. I conducted safety walkthroughs, ensured OSHA compliance, and oversaw all talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, and benefits policies and procedures.In the middle of my tenure, the pandemic hit and despite having to furlough our employees, we retained 75+% of them upon bringing them back to the facility. I negotiated with our health insurance provider to allow displaced employees to maintain their health insurance while still being able to draw unemployment.Additionally, I was selected to assist other facilities in the region to support recruiting and employee relations initiatives for hourly and salaried personnel.

I recruited and hired the sales team, project team, and led union negotiations for each individual job.
