Abound is a helpful, guiding resource for choosing the next step in your education. Abound's first launch, Finish College, will focus on adult undergraduate degree seekers. We have a commitment to quality education and helping a prospective student not just find a good school, but a school that will work best to help someone start or finish a degree.After nearly 17 years of researching, visiting, and developing relationships with first-rate undergraduate schools, we became astounded at the number of schools with lesser-known, but equally as excellent, adult degree programs. There is an enormous number of individuals who have college credit, but were unable to complete their degree. Many of these people hope to finish their degrees to advance their careers, but have a difficult time finding top adult education programs that fit their needs. With the founding of Abound-Finish College, we aim to connect returning students to top adult programs that not only value support, affordability, and accelerated learning, but also provide a quality education.Coming soon will be additional guides for Nursing, MBA, and Graduate degrees.

Years ago, I began the college search process with my oldest daughter. Like any parent, I had a myriad of questions: What is the campus experience like? Are the teachers inspiring? How will the college help my daughter prepare for the world? And most importantly—will she be happy there?I was surprised to find that there was no comprehensive resource to help answer these questions. I found many data points, such as acceptance rates and rankings. I also found reviews of “top” schools—the Ivy League and other elite institutions. But there was no single place that evaluated the hundreds of smaller schools across the country—colleges that for generations have been providing a strong education to students who have then gone on to highly successful careers. It was also difficult to find any information on what matters most to parents and students: the quality of the undergraduate learning experience. And so, after embarking on an intensive study of hundreds of colleges across America, I founded Colleges of Distinction.Now in our seventeenth year, we at Colleges of Distinction continue to track down colleges and universities that provide innovative, engaged educational experiences that prepare students for successful careers, active citizenship, and lifelong learning.
