I am extremely proud and excited to accept a voluntary appointment as a member of the Board of Trustees of the UK based charity, Veterans for Wildlife (V4W). The world’s natural spaces are diminishing at an alarming rate and I have therefore made it my life’s mission to contribute to protecting and conserving Africa’s wild spaces in any way that I can. My time in the services has equipped me to carry out this mission. V4W brings the much needed skills and experience of veterans like me into the conservation space and I look forward to working alongside fellow Trustees, Isabella Baldwin , Robin Simpson , and James Glancy and being part of a dynamic team that can leverage these skills, help conserve our natural spaces, and work with the communities who they rely upon and who depend on them
