While in Dharamsala, I taught daily intensive English classes to Tibetan refugees, conducted research on the exile community's response to the growing trend of self-immolation protests inside Tibet and wrote articles for regional publications. I also provided strategic planning and coaching for the Tibetan National Sports Association's nascent Tibet Women's Football program, which is now thriving and competing internationally.
