Employed as a Sr. Electrical Engineer to provide design, development, and enhancing of electrical / safety systems and devices. This includes creating tele-operated / automated systems and collaborating with the product, software, and mechanical teams to control them. While working on several different individual systems I conducted research, document findings, presented reports at meetings that are based on the development of design documents for electrical parts, systems, and final products. With current designs, I also identified areas of weakness in the production line and finished products and made recommendations for improvements.

Employed as a Sr. Electrical Engineer to provide hands-on research and development dedicated to inventing, building, and proving new technologies to advance our reach into space. This entailed creating and/or modifying hardware systems, building AC and DC power distribution systems, troubleshoot electronics and data system designs, track project timelines and ensure reliable operation of equipment. I was also involved in high altitude balloon systems where accurate monitoring and tracking of the payloads were crucial to mission success.

Employed as a Lead Electrical Engineer to conceptualize and implement detailed designs for the development and assembly of complex optical systems. This entailed the design of system schematics, power supply/budget requirements, detailed component selection and layout, system integration, assembly, and testing. I worked closely with mechanical and controls engineers in defining system architectures, interconnects, command/control procedures and the design of customer panel interfaces. I also collaborated to develop rack mounted systems which interconnect and communicate with customer controls. I actively participated on technical teams to design and configure necessary testing procedures and develop trouble-shooting efforts to support assigned programs.

Employed as a Sr. Electrical Engineer to support electrical development of one or more complete new autonomous robotic product designs, complete electrical layouts, and detailed PCB designs, create and/or updating CAD models, and generate appropriately annotated manufacturing drawings the assure desired system performance. I also supported the design of wiring harnesses, building up of robotic platforms and testing and validation to ensure proper working of electronics and mechanics.

Employed as a Sr. Electrical Engineer to provide electrical and hardware designs that included system analysis for robotic spacecrafts (CubeSats). Much of my focus was on power distribution systems and controls for microsatellite electric propulsion systems and the rapid prototyping of mechanisms and control software. I also supported proposal writing of internal and customer proposals.

Employed as an Electrical Engineer in the R&D department, I was brought in to conceptualize and create engineering solutions to given problems and create functioning systems for field testing. I gained expertise in designing, fabricating, and testing while revising design plans to optimize performance. Working on a key design issue, I successfully solved a major engineering problem for the company and implemented a design to further our expertise in the field.

Employed as an Electrical Engineer, I designed, assembled, and tested prototype LED lighting systems. I gained expertise in analog and digital circuit design and mechanical thermal analysis while optimizing for size and cost. With the success I had of designing a small compact AC/DC power supply for commercial and residential LED fixtures, I helped lower manufacturing costs as well as the price of the fixtures to the consumer. I also held a key role in the design of a medical headlamp that would help increase in the visual aid for doctors in the operating room.

Employed as a Staff Engineer to conduct and support experimental design in advanced technologies and unmanned robotic platforms. Working in a team environment I gained expertise in hardware design related to analog and digital circuitry and software design related to microcontrollers and wireless communications. Working on a key contract for the company in robotics, I successfully managed the project and created a battery backup system that would help aid in the recovery of a vehicle if its main batteries were to fail. I also successfully designed and built a portable test system that would aid in chemical analysis.
