Undergraduate Research Assistant
CurrentI am currently working as a Research Assistant in Dr. Alberto Stolfi's Tunicate Lab, where I am researching Ciona robusta, specifically focusing on the gene doublecortin (DCX) and its implications. My responsibilities include literature review, experimental design, and data analysis. I also participate in experimental procedures such as CRISPR/Cas9-Geminin-mediated gene knockout and promoter region identification. This work contributes to our understanding of neurodevelopment and has the potential to shed light on disorders like lissencephaly.
