As the role of Retail Operations Manager I oversee a spectrum of activities and duties for both the flagship store in Portland OR. and the boutique store in Seattle WA. These duties include staffing and training employees, drafting and maintain the schedule and analysing sales to maintain labor cost. I am responsible for include ordering supplies to inventory management: receiving, protecting sales, inventory balancing, restocking and merchandising. In the role of Assistant Buyer, I attend trade shows to develop and cultivate relationships with vendors while making decisions on what to bring to the store.

As a retail sales associate it was my responsibility it create an environment where the guests felt comfortable and welcome. I would also actively engage with customers to discover their wants and needs; I would assist customers in a variety of ways: from styling them in the fitting room, finding products on the sales floor, to finalizing the transactions at the cash register. When I wasn't working with customers I would assist in inventory management, merchandising, restocking products on the sales floor, and helping with the pick and pack process for online orders.
