Responsible for modeling Hydroxyl Number, Acid Number, and Isocyanate Content to determine unknowns during production runs. Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service which includes investigating customer issues relating to quality and methods to solve these issues; traveling onsite when needed. Responsible for setting specifications of new products and scaling to production levels. Work closely with sales, quality control and production. Perform testing on new raw materials and offsets which have stimulated the reformulation of a number of products and ultimately led to drastic cost savings for the company.
