Led a team of 10 direct reports responsible for development and support of Progress Energy’s external web site, web self-service applications, content management system, and internal portal (Microsoft SharePoint).Directed the IT portion of multi-million dollar strategic initiative to study, design, and implement a redesigned external web site (progress-energy.com) and new web content management system (TeamSite). The new web site was rated #2 in the South and #4 Nationally in 2012 JD Powers survey of large utility web sites.Implemented a mobile version of Progress Energy’s web site for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry mobile devices. Key features include account balance, report an outage, and bill payment options.Created new governance principles and vetting processes for Enterprise IT investments.
