Hello, my name is Wesley Whitworth. I am a junior at the University of Oklahoma on track to graduate in May 2026 with a degree in Accounting and Finance and a minor in French. I plan on applying for the Accelerated Masters Program at OU and would graduate with a Masters in Accountancy in May of 2027. Last summer, I had the opportunity to intern at Novus consulting where I received opportunities to work in oil and gas consulting, and interview other oil and gas professionals and executives.Beyond my professional background, I have been employed as a Tae Kwon Do instructor for the last four years, teaching both children and adults, which has enhanced my confidence in voicing my knowledge of a subject and public speaking skills. This experience has not only improved my personal confidence but has also evolved me into a constructive leader ready to step up and assist those in my surroundings.Apart from my work experience, I have excelled in all my coursework, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and am involved in multiple organizations on campus. At my fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, I was elected as the house treasurer, where I have maintained a budget and built on my already strong communication skills by dealing with delayed payments.
