    My role was split into three areas reporting to three Executive Directors Role 1 – Hunter ManagerThe hunter role was introduced to drive income for the Retail and International Personal Banking Division (RIPB). My primary responsibility was to promote our in-house regulated structured products to the intermediary network in Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar. My secondary duty was to build relationships with international mortgage brokers to promote our lending services to overseas clients for UK buy-to-let properties. The role required travel to UK, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar.Role 2 – Manager, Non-Personal Unit (NPU)The non-personal unit was set up under my guidance to ring-fence all the identified non-personal accounts within our personal banking and retail division. There was c.9000 identified connections which all required remediation within a timeline agreed with the regulator. I established the team and overview the progress, providing leadership and consultancy based on my corporate and AML experience. I recruited a team of four people to ensure the correct skill sets in place to cover these duties.s and subsequently the Group Role 3 – International Service Team (IST) including the Business Development Team (BDT)The IST services c.180,000 clients across the globe on a reactive basis. As well as servicing existing clients this team had a small BDT which responded to new client enquiries, ensuring potential clients met the bank’s criteria and satisfied our risk profile. I developed the BDT into a sales team which provided record results and outperformed other teams within our division. This team (17 FTEs) was based in Jersey but maintained the relationships for customers across Jersey, Guernsey Isle of Man and Gibraltar, and included both the RBS and NatWest brand as well as the Isle of Man Bank.

    he CNBM team was established to ensure all new business in the Corporate division met all AML guidance issued by the appropriate regulator. Our main source of business was c.200 main intermediary introducers of business across the Crown Dependencies. This provided c.5000 new accounts pcm so it was essential to maintain first class relationships with the intermediaries. I managed a team of 14 WTEs across Jersey, Guernsey and Gibraltar. I liaised with all intermediaries minimally annually to review performance requiring frequent travel to these Jurisdictions as well as the UK, Isle of Man and Switzerland. In this role I was responsible for:• Ensuring contemporary AML standards were adhered to within CNBM.• Working closely with the CNBM managers in all jurisdictions, sharing best practices.• Managing the high-risk customer project.• Successful delivery of the Jersey Key Principle Data collation exercise for c.15,000 accounts.• Managing the corporate PEP project through to completion.• Advising the local regulated intermediary businesses.• Presentations to audiences of c.250 people representing local intermediaries.• Providing expert opinion for non-personal KYC/CDD: referred to regularly by the Jersey Corporate Team and asked to attend many client meetings to discuss the Bank’s position on matters of CDD/KYC.• Preparations for the launch of the Jersey Foundation.• Custody Bank – I was the liaison with external auditors (auditing on behalf of the IRS) for documentation review as part of the Banks QI commitment.• Maintaining compliance with IRS QI guidelines, and implementing required changes.
