Responsible for the daily operations of physical trades for Liquid Caustic Soda and Ethylene Dichloride, which consisted in the export of bulk chemicals from the US-Gulf to South America, Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia• Chartering vessels, negotiating freight rates and charter-party terms in spot vessel fixtures and in chartering annual contracts.• Managing product inventories and supply to subsidiary distribution companies in Colombia and Mexico • Conducting research on market trends for internal and external purposes• Managing export contracts and assuring their smooth execution through communication with suppliers, brokers and receivers• Assisting various financial service activities, including letters of credit, open account financing, invoice discounting, etc.
