Within 5 months I was promoted to include duties of futures planning. Helped to drive raw material inventory levels lower than ever by improving scheduling and ordering methods and practices. Developed custom web pages to help estimate ready dates for Plant orders for customer service reps inquiring about orders. Lead trainer and power user for a custom plant production reporting program across the facility, standardizing the reporting across the company. Developed plant reports using Business Objects for daily and monthly reporting. After 1 year, I was promoted to Materials Manager with responsibilities over purchasing, spare parts department, raw materials orders, futures planning, plant scheduling, and 8 employees. Oversaw and assisted in the preparation, training, and roll out of SAP in the Augusta plant.

Joined a small team of developers. Lead developer for a graphical interface program to help track and report on orders that were sold to overseas customers, as well as computer generate the proper paperwork required for exported orders. Designed, developed, and implemented a web based program to track inventory through the treatment process to be used throughout the company. Assisted in the migration of data from old database systems into newer systems, including the programs that required the before mentioned databases. Lead developer in the redesign of the company's intranet. Installed hardware and software to move from a physical punch time clock system to a computer tracked time clock system at our four sites, including trained users and supporting the system through its early months. Helped maintain and upgrade the technological infrastructure of the company including multiple web, file system, terminal, email, and gateway servers as well as the phone and data network.
