I have more than 4 years as a grower in the commercial cannabis industry with involvement along every step of the way. Being eager to learn combined with a keen sense of detail has led me to a unique position in this environment where I have my hands on every plant in the facility as they go through the Vegetation stage. Because of this very direct involvement, it naturally made sense for me to learn how to record these things digitally and ultimately through the systems Dutchie and Metrc. Numbers and details come easily to me so I am often involved in laying out the future plans for the number of plants/strains and where they should go. As the cultivation ICA, I create and maintain an updated record of all plants in the building and where they may be moved to throughout their lifecycle. This includes more than 45 strains with new phenotypes consistently being introduced every two weeks. As the veg supervisor, I am overall responsible for everything and everyone in the veg room. This involves cleaning and resetting the room to keep everything on a cycle as well as ensuring all the plants are thriving and ready for flower. With just a small crew, we are able to keep everything tagged and on a routine schedule while we nurture the plants and set them up for success. My years of experience have given me a great feel and eye for how things are supposed to look or act, which is a key component to growing the best cannabis possible. I have personally seen and brought attention to a number of things that may have gone unnoticed without my attention to detail, including hermaphrodite traits, mold, males, mutations, line malfunctions and any number of issues. This has led me to the reputation "eagle eye" from at least one of my managers, but overall I think they would all consider me as hardworking and someone you can trust to get the job done well.
